A Question About Truck Insurance

Getting ready to jump into expediting and will be buying a new FL M2 from AlumiBunk in Woodhaven MI. The carrier that I will be running with requires me to carry a 1,000,000.00 Non-Trucking Liability policy. I am new to this and was wondering how much this is going to cost per month on average for a new 2007 FL M2. I have a clean driving record. I will be financing the truck so do I also have to carry full-coverage insurance like you would a car as well? Or is my NTL all of the insurance that I am going to need? I am based out of Michigan if that makes any difference as to what kind of insurance that I will need on the truck. Any help on this matter will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Contact your new carrier with the value of the truck, and they should be able to give you a pretty close quote on your rate. Once you know that, then you can shop and compare. Remember when shopping to make sure you are comparing the same coverage and limits.

You can get quotes through OOIDA even if you aren't a member although hopefully you are. You also can try First Guard at www.fast234.com I think it is.
