Central City, Kentucky bills itself as the Everly Brothers hometown, although the younger sibling was born in Chicago. The annual Everly Brothers Homecoming Festival can be caught each summer in Muhlenburg County, KY. Pretty amazing talent.

From deep, deep in the coal villages of Appalachia comes Patty Loveless. Born in Pikeville, Kentucky (my birthplace as well) Patty reached phenomenal success as a solo artist. This lady can hold a note hostage.

Thanks for posting this Aristotle. I haven't heard Patty Loveless in years and it was fun seeing what she has on youtube. I was a country fan for awhile around 1990 or so. :) A lot of good country came out around that time. How about this one from back then?
