A moment of silence please

I am asking everyone to have a moment of silence for the loss of one of the world's greatest entertainers who passed from this world last night.

This gentleman of stage and screen changed the face of acting forever. We may not think about his contributions to the world now but when he was at his peak, he was well known in households world wide and children of all ages took up his form of acting. No other actor has impacted the theater as he did starting in 1949, he took his art to new heights and by the late 1950's he was instrumental in bringing to the world dramas to the stage that included Pierrot de Montmartre, The 3 Wigs, The Pawn Shop, 14th July, The Wolf of Tsu Ku Mi, Paris Cries—Paris Laughs, and Don Juan.

During the 60's his art reached American shores and took center stage on shows like Johnny Carson, Merv Griffin and Mike Douglas. Also during that time he was in several movies for the American audience that further propelled him in his career, movies such as Barbarella, and later in the 70's Mel Brooks' Silent Movie.

We will miss him greatly and no other actor can ever replace him.

So I ask for a moment of silence to reflect on the life and our loss of Marcel Marceau, the world's most popular Mime.
