This morning at 11:17 I received a truck specific QC message. I wasn't sleeping, I was driving to a pickup. I quick glanced at the message and saw it was a REQUEST FOR PRO PAPERWORK and read no further. On the way to the shipper I wondered what paperwork could possibly be missing. I closed out my year the other day, all loads had paid out or were in the pipeline to pay. Everything was accounted for.
I had to wait for the end of lunch break at the shipper so I read the QC message in its entirety.

REQUEST FOR PRO PAPERWORK
REQUIRED PAPERWORK HAS NOT
BEEN RECEIVED FOR:
PRO# 201301*****
DELIVERED 01-02-13
PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR PAPERWORK AS
SOON AS POSSIBLE. THANK YOU
AND PLEASE BE SAFE
I delivered this load 1-2-13 at 23:40 and 11 hours and 37 minutes after delivery they are hounding me for paperwork. This is the same company that will put you on a Safety Hold and not tell you. I like starting off the new year with back to back loads but I don't want to deal with this crap after every load. Is ABF putting the screws to them for money or is it something less sinister?
I know this post should be in the carrier forum but hardly anyone ever visits my carrier's forum.
