A depressing prediction

Can President Obama be defeated in 2012? No. He can't. I am going on record as saying that President Barak Obama will win a second term.

The media won't tell you this because a good election campaign means hundreds of millions (or in Obama's case billions) of dollars to them in advertising.

But the truth is, there simply are no conditions under which Barak Obama can be defeated in 2012.
The quality of the Republican candidate doesn't matter. Obama gets reelected. Nine percent unemployment? No problem. Obama will win. Gas pricesmoving toward five dollars a gallon? He still wins. The economy soars or goes into the gutter. Obama wins. War in the Middle East? He wins a second term.

America's role as the leading Superpower disappears? Hurrah for Barak Obama! The U..S. government rushes toward bankruptcy, the dollar continues to sink on world markets and the price of daily goods and services soars due to inflation fueled by Obama's extraordinary deficit spending? Obama wins handily.

You are crazy Williams. Don't you understand how volatile politics can be when overall economic, government, and world conditions are declining? Sure I do.

And that's why I know Obama will win. The American people are notoriously ignorant of economics. And economics is the key to why Obama should be defeated.

Even when Obama's policies lead the nation to final ruin, the majority of the American people are going to believe the bait-and-switch tactics Obama and his supporters in the media will use to explain why it isn't his fault. After all, things were much worse than understood when he took office.

Obama's reelection is really a very, very simple math problem. Consider the following:

1) Blacks will vote for Obama blindly. Period. Doesn't matter what he does. It's a race thing. He's one of us,

2) College educated women will vote for Obama. Though they will be offended by this, they swoon at his oratory. It's really not more complex than that,

3) Liberals will vote for Obama. He is their great hope,

4) Democrats will vote for Obama. He is the leader of their party and his coat tails will carry them to victory nationwide,

5) Hispanics will vote for Obama. He is the path to citizenship for those who are illegal and Hispanic leaders recognize the political clout they carry in the Democratic Party,

6) Union members will vote overwhelmingly for Obama. He is their key to money and power in business, state and local politics,

7) Big Business will support Obama. They already have. He has almost $1 Billion dollars in his reelection purse gained largely from his connections with Big Business and is gaining more everyday. Big Business loves Obama because he gives them access to taxpayer money so long as they support his social and political agenda,

8) The media love him. They may attack the people who work for him, but they love him. After all, to not love him would be racist,

9) Most other minorities and special interest groups will vote for him. Oddly, the overwhelming majority of Jews and Muslims will support him because they won't vote Republican. American Indians will support him. Obviously homosexuals tend to vote Democratic. And lastly,

10) Approximately half of independents will vote for Obama. And he doesn't need anywhere near that number because he has all of the groups previously mentioned. The President will win an overwhelming victory in 2012.

Obituary-Very Interesting!

Born 1776, Died 2008

It doesn't hurt to read this several times.

Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul , Minnesota , points out some interesting facts concerning the last Presidential election:

* Number of States won by: Obama:19 McCain: 29
* Square miles of land won by: Obama:580,000 McCain: 2,427,000
* Population of counties won by: Obama:127million McCain: 143 million
* Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Obama: 13.2 McCain: 2.1

Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory McCain won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country.

Obama territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in low income tenements and living off various forms of government welfare..."

Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the "complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population already having reached the "governmental dependency" phase.
If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal invaders called illegal's - and they vote - then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years.

If you are in favor of this, then by all means, delete this message.

If you are not, then pass this along to help everyone realize just how much is at stake, knowing that apathy is the greatest danger to our freedom.

This E-mail has been going around for a few years in various forms. The second part attributed to Professor Olson is B.S. He never wrote it and most if not all of the statistics are inaccurate.

The first part attributed to a Dr. Williams is also B.S. and is the first time I had ever seen it.

But, throw out the inaccurate statistics and overall B.S. and this prediction still will probably come true and you can quote me on this.

It amazes me still how most people will do whatever the last line of an e-mail tells them to do.

If an e-mail says sent this to everyone you know, that's a red flag that (1) you shouldn't do that, and (2) that the e-mail is largely a load of crap and you shouldn't believe a word of it.

I checked this on several other sites it is posted at and each of them posted the disclaimer that Dr.Walter E. Williams from George Mason University did NOT write this....

But for whoever it did come from, I still believe barry can and will be defeated...

Great maybe. Right again implies that I have been right in the past. Anyway, the Professor Olson thing has been circulating since the day after Obama was elected. He didn't write it and statistics are B.S.

This is the first time I have seen the piece attributed to Dr. Williams, who ever he is. After reading the whole post and knowing that the Olson stuff is crap, I researched the Williams part of the post and found that to be B.S. also.

If I had a $100 today to wager on the winner of the 2012 presidential election and my choices were Barack Ombama or anybody else, I'd lay the C-note on Obama.

Here's an interesting illustration from 2007 showing how the Democrat presidential candidates stacked up at roughly this time four years ago.

Google Trends Democratic Presidential Candidates

I know it's a bit small but notice where Hillary Clinton was positioned in the Spring of 2007. A lot can happen between now and the fall of 2012. In the meantime the mainstream media in collusion with their soulmates in the democrat party will do their best to convince conservatives and republicans that none of their candidates have a snowball's chance in h-ll and there's no reason to even get a bumper sticker this year. This president - with one of the worst records in the country's history - can and will be defeated in spite of the msm agenda. The GOP only needs to present a reasonable candidate with a resume of accomplishments as an executive and in politics. In the final analysis the vote will once again be based on "the economy, stupid!". With the true jobless rate in double digits, inflation gaining momentum, our national debt causing problems with interest rates, and our foreign policy in shambles, it won't take a master campaigner to point out the obvious as the race starts up full swing. A major terrorist attack on our shores - God forbid - would sink Obama like a stone, as would a military flare-up between the Iranians and the Israelis. As people begin to seriously evaluate the performance of the most irrelevant and incompetent president that's possibly ever held office, there will be quite a few voters that won't make the same mistake they made the last time they were in the voting booth.

It's only interesting if you are reliving the past. Are Clinton, Biden, Edwards or Gore challenging Obama for the Democratic nomination in 2012? Are there any Democrats challenging Obama? This thread had nothing to do with the inner workings of the Democratic party. This thread deals with the current Democratic front runner, who happens to be the President Of The United States and possible challengers from outside the Democrat party.

You certainly have more faith in the American people in general and Democrats in particular than I do. I hope you're right, but my $100 is still on Obama.

I'm not so sure of that. Can we all say "Jimmy Carter".

At any moment in time, the current president is always the WORST president to half of the nation. Any nation stupid enough to nominate and then elect Barack Obama no longer relies on reason or logic at the ballot box. To re-elect Obama confirms this is true. I would venture to say there is an 80% chance Obama wins in 2012. He would have to commit a tremendous blunder to blow his re-election.

You know you guys don't frink'n get it - the republicans have no one who appeals to the independent voter at this point and they are too far behind to put up a worthy candidate who can actually topple the messiah.

All the idiot talking heads on the entertainment channels and politic advisors within the party are clueless to what has just happened over the last few weeks and no matter how you cut it, the republicans lost the election already. Just in their fund raising they will have a very hard time catching up.

In all seriousness who in the republican party that has stepped forward that has a real chance?

This thread had nothing to do with the inner workings of the Democratic party. This thread is based on a BS e-mail falsely claiming to have been written by Walter Williams - a conservative black economics professor at George Mason University. It was probably written by a liberal blogger and sent to one of his conservative pals from a false e-mail address.
It also might be kinda/sorta reliving the past, but the point is that we're very early in the GOP primary process and it's premature to say that no one has jumped to the top of the pecking order to challenge Obama. If you'll remember, there was a time (as indicated by the graph) that Hillary was considered unbeatable and Obama was a relative nobody who had accomplished nothing as a member of the House and who barely had been in the Senate long enough to locate his office. However, he ran an effective campaign that was aided by his fan club in the msm which resulted in his taking the nomination from two weak opponents (Edwards and Clinton - Gore wasn't running). For those who think Hillary was a formidable candidate, remember that her unfavorable ratings in the polls were in some cases record highs; no one had previously won the nomination who was that unlikable. He then faced off with one of the worst GOP candidates in recent memory.

If for no other reason, the GOP has a distinct advantage in this election due to the fact there's no "Senior Candidate" like Bob Dole or John McCain whose "turn" has finally arrived. There will be plenty of time for the most effective candidate to state his case and work his/her way to the top of the pecking order. This notion of declaring Obama unbeatable at this point in time is absolutely absurd, and totally without foundation. However, the Democrat party is promoting this pipe dream and the msm has enthusiastically jumped on board. This same liberal media once predicted that Jimmy Carter would defeat Ronald Reagan based on his favorable ratings which turned out to be temporary: NationalJournal.com - If History Is Guide, bin Laden Killing May Not Boost Obama - Tuesday, May 3, 2011

I'll say again: lets let the primary process run its course before we coronate the "anointed one" for a second term before the actual campaign even starts.
