A day @ the ballpark

It was my Granddaughters birthday. My first visit to Comerica and am glad she shared it with us.
She is a big fan of the Tigers and loves baseball. Also is a big fan of Prince Fielder as the sign shows. We showed up early to try to catch him coming out of the parking structure but apparently missed him by 5 min. It wasn't until the last out of the game was made when she finally caught up with him..She got her sign signed out by the dugout..With no camera available when she met him on the feild, He said he would met her at the parking lot for a picture and out of maybe 100 ppl waiting for autographs he loaded his p-up and family into the truck and then came outside to met her again for the photo and then took off..This really made her day.

Very nice I'm sure she will remember it forever. I can still remember as a young boy a backup catcher I think for the Cubs handing me a bullpen ball as we sat front row at St. Loius.

He is a big boy for sure..To watch him on the base line it doesnt look like he has a lot of spring in his step. But he does his job well like his Dad did. Hope he does well tonight in the Home run derby, Its just getting underway.
