Ferrari Driven By Boy, 9: Father Charged

A millionaire businessman has been charged with endangering the life of a child after allowing his nine-year-old son to drive his Ferrari.
Indian police were alerted after a video was posted on the internet showing the boy at the wheel of the F430, with his younger brother in the passenger seat.
The clip went viral on YouTube and caused an outrage across the country, causing officers to file charges.
The child's father, Mohammed Nisham, turned himself in at a police station near the port city of Kochi.
He was arrested on charges of endangering the life of a child and allowing a minor to drive, and was later released after posting bail of 5,000 rupees (£60).

Police said Nisham, who has tobacco and property businesses, owns 18 cars worth an estimated £2.6m.

Nisham's wife Amal had filmed the youngster driving the car on his ninth birthday two weeks ago, with his seven-year-old brother next to him.

Amal Nisham said of the elder son: "I am proud of him. He's been driving since he was five."
She said the boy has also driven the family's other cars, including a Lamborghini and Bentley.
She told television channel NDTV: "It was his ninth birthday, and since he was insisting for months, we allowed him to drive the Ferrari.
"He is a cautious and confident driver. It's not easy for a child to achieve such a feat at this young age."
Police have seized the Ferrari, but it will be returned to him in a few days after officers complete the paperwork for the case.

I wonder if that kid will grow into a spoiled teenager who thinks he's entitled to anything and everything and that rules apply to everyone else but him. Idiot parents.
