Another screwball looking for that elusive 15 minutes of internet fame. Reminds me of that moron here on E.O. who would like to restrict the number of cargo vans in expeditng by promoting a "ban the van movement", even though he owns a van.
Overdive Magazine, The Vice Of The American Trucker has an interesting profile out on this psychotic man who would like to reduce the van population by 90%. The “Vanitheist” is a old crumudgeonly expediter named Moot who has a 10 year old van and has advocated for an International “Ban The Van Day.” Although Moot no longer advocates for total vanstration, he does believe that we need to reduce the population of vans, seeing as how he believes that excess vans are the “primary cause of low expedite rates.”
Moot claims that conventional equality, with a 50/50 van to straight truck ratio is an inferior system. He argues that vans should be put in a 1/10 ratio, which he thinks vanners would enjoy, considering that they would be more valued and get their choice of a myriad of loads. “Vans would be made more valuable, and their quality of pay would be dramatically improved. They would have a subsidized existence if you will, akin to going on an all-expenses paid vacation that lasts from birth to death,” Moot argues.
Moot claims that he doesn’t advocate for culling the population directly but that we should manipulate who cargo vans are sold to and where they are leased.
Of course, he goes on to argue that the world would be utopian because the only purpose of vanning is to survive and haul freight. He says that "If someone is willing to give you all the miles you require to survive and live somewhat comfortably, simply because you exist, then you have already achieved all that truly matters."

Oh dear - I thought it was 3 men for each woman - never mind.
It is funny. EVERY wildlife manager KNOWS that IF you want to control population levels you control the FEMALE numbers. If you are looking at deer, SHOT the does, to lower the size of the herd, DON'T shot the does, to increase the herd.
