4 years gone..what a change RE: Minimum wages

Wow....been almost 4 years in Ontario...the min wage has risen from 6.85 to 10.25....a 12 pc dinner at Popeyes was 50 bucks and what was 5.99 when I left was now 9.99 a 24 pk of Pepsi cans......lots more example, but you get the point....:cool:

I almost had a heart attack when I ordered a Double Baconator at Wendy's in Toronto. :eek:

I wonder if places here still refuse to take Canadian coins:rolleyes: Aren't they worth more than the dollar now?
50.00 Can got me 49.01 on Sunday.....the US dollar is in the tank..AGAIN...and NO sign of recovering any time soon....
That is why Canada is looking for different more diverse trading partners....the US is a bad investment as it stands now...

And it's not so much the Canadian dollar being strong it's the American being weak. For example, the Canadian dollar is down 20% to the Australian dollar in one year.

The Canadian economy is stalled...with its biggest partner in the tank....that is why they are looking elsewhere to deal....
