Pipeline issues mean higher gasoline prices | www.whiotv.com

The Miami Valley should brace for a spike in gas prices starting today, as Midwestern pipeline and refinery issues may drive prices up as much as 35 cents per gallon by Friday evening.
The price hike could bring Dayton-area prices to between $3.85 and $3.95 per gallon of regular gasoline, Patrick DeHaan, GasBuddy.com senior petroleum analyst, said Wednesday.
“Some areas in Michigan and Indiana may flirt with $4 per gallon,” he said, but thought the $4 mark was unlikely in Southwest Ohio.

$4.00 a gallon!?

Now why would you care? As long as your cup of coffee on the deck is not $4.00, aren't you a happy camper? LOL

I am a very happy camper ... and ... if I really want to visit the Waffle House, I'll just ride my 117mpg scooter ...... and of course the quality FSC that so many get will take care fo the cost for the industry.

I just passed the Speedway an hour ago, the one near where I live had gas at 4.15 a gallon. Good thing I filled up earlier when it was only (!!!) 3.79 a gallon.

I expect prices to be alarming up here in the Mid-West for a while now. A pipeline break in Wisconsin and a fire at the BP refinery in Whiting aren't going to drive prices down, that's for sure.
