A few of my favorites:

Tomatoes - Antioxidants - low in calories Fiber
Oats - Fiber - Antioxidants
Spices - Ginger - Black Pepper
Sweet Potatoes - leave off brown sugar and butter
Apples - curb sweet cravings
Nuts - One food all diets suggest in small quantities
Beans - I am becoming a fan of vegetarian bean soup
Grapefruit - or grapefruit juice something I really enjoy
Chicken Breast - great on salads or with spices
Bananas - I like mine with a little bit of green
Pears - These are great in green smoothies
Pine Nuts - I like these in a salad
Mushrooms - they are good in the bean soup
Hot Peppers - These are good anything!
Broccoli - great raw or steamed
Organic lean meats - something we take the effort to look for and pay extra for
Cantaloupe - they are in season now!
Spinach - raw spinach is great or steamed on top of salmon
Green Tea - tastes great hot or cold
Asparagus - great as a raw snack or steamed
Avocado - uses are endless raw or with a little garlic and pepper
Peanut Butter - I have made the jump to raw peanut butter
Salmon - very easy to make in a rice cooker in the truck
Organic Raw Apple Cider Vinegar - I have at least 1 tablespoon a day in my water
Blueberries - great in oats or eaten as a snack
Olive oil - if I cook with oil this is all I use
Turkey breast - great with avocado
Flax Seeds - ground spread on food - I have replaced this with Chia Seeds

Whole milk 8 oz with a meal helps you feel full.
Use butter instead of margerine in moderation.
If you drink soda stay off diet and soda made with High fructose corn syrup.

Gentlemen: All one needs is a loaf of bread, a large jar of peanut butter, a sack of apples, chips and milk. I have gained 50 lbs in 40 years and still lean, so, there u go.....Ok, Im running for the bunker now.............lol. I forgot the pecan pie and icecream, darn it.

sorry'bout'that, but growing seeded watermelons in an open field greenhouse was what i did for a few years. the watermelons where grown for their seeds. there are MANY good ways of eating watermelon seeds and they are great nutritious. you can imagine my disbelieving as i moved to Minnesota and found them seeds to be sold as birds feed...
have you ever asked yourself : "how do they make seeds that will grow a seedless watermelon"?
