Hey this is my first post. I am an owner operator and I have a 2017 hino 268a. I drive over the road and I started to notice when my truck was doing the regen that the temperature was going almost up into the red. Then last week I was coming into Tennessee and while going up a long hill the truck started getting hot. On The highway I have no problems. I started noticing that the truck is getting hot when I get stuck in traffic or congested city streets. I noticed that the fan is able to spin completely free when the truck is off. The check engine light just came on so I'm going to scan it. I'm not losing any coolant. I believe that it's either the clutch fan, temperature sensor, or possibly a thermostat. I'm trying to see if anyone has any experience with something like this. I am quite a ways away from my home station and I'm trying to work my way up there by the end of the week. If anything I could do some repairs on the road.
