2015 Ford Transit Maintenance Costs

You can't do much better than 3 cents per mile maintenance costs. And it did drop a bit as you hoped it would.
I figured it would drop a bit barring any major repairs. I do anticipate it to go up some as I approach 300,000 miles and my 100,000 mile maintenance routine.

100% agree on the Hankook, about 65K, then did the Continental - no better. Firestone has been good. I swap out around 5 - 6/32. I've not been consistent with rotation so I pay the price by having mis matched tread depth. Still I have done well with the Firestone. Can't believe that Ford is selling more Transits than everyone else and yet Michelin hasn't jumped in yet?

Informative numbers, thanks.
What was wrong with your driver door? Mine "pops" during opening, closing. Looks like a part of the hinge is loose, have no idea how to fix/ replace it.

The wind caught my door and yanked it right out of my hand. The combination of the size of the door, the location of hand grab and the only thing stopping the door from going past 180º is the fender. Poor design.

I may be missing something (I am Canadian after all) but I only see rear brakes being done? Eco Blaster always doing wheelies?

Phenomenal numbers though...thanks for sharing.

From what I've read on the Transit forum, members claim the rear brakes do most of the stopping to prevent nose diving. Just the opposite of my Chevy slop buckets where I replaced front brakes on almost a 3 to 1 ratio to rear brakes. Or it could be the Ford dealership replaced the front brake pads and forgot to charge me.

People should pay CLOSE attention to this. Moot takes meticulous care of his vehicle and keeps detailed receipts and notes of what is done. That knowledge is part of what brings success. You aren't likely to find a better example of how to take care of a vehicle to be successful in this business and you will find very few keeping as good records either. Does it guarantee success? No. Does it guarantee failure is less likely? Yes.

Exactly right. My Dad taught me at a young age that accurate numbers do not lie. Record every penny spent of a vehicle. Good, honest records backed up with neat orderly receipts will help in surviving a tax audit unscathed.

I have a 2015 diesel and I'm running closer to 4.7 cents a mile. Without any emissions issues.

I also have 260.000km. So things like wheel bearings have upped the price

Thank God i found the other ones skf aftermarket for 250 $ cdn cheaper. Ford charged me 499$ for the one then 170$ cdn labour.

They frowned doing. The labor on the aftermarket parts and charged me 22$ for bolts
