I got the call from my CC yesterday and yes I was happy to hear about the 2% increase. I told her I was grateful FedEx was concerned enough to make some sort of change but more and better paying loads would more helpful. I also said I was sure they were doing everything they can to achieve that as well. As I am sure all the companies are doing. They all want to increase thier business.

It was not 5% for ER units. It was 2% on reefer loads and 4% on dry loads.

Here is my question, why? They just took 10% away from us now 2 months later we get 2% back...just waiting for the other shoe to drop. No, I'm not complaining, just a little concerned.

We were happy about the 2% increase and also getting the fuel surcharge on deadhead, but it's funny that suddenly our acceptance rate has dropped from 68% to 38% since it went into effect....

Fellas, not to rain on your parade but save your enthusiasm and celebrations for something a little bigger...

$2000 * 2% = $40

Having said that, it is certainly better than 0%. :)

Since the 2% raise has gone into affect our acceptance too has gone down the drain. The offers we are getting now average less per all miles. Hope this is just a "freak" thing.x(

my accept rate went from around 80 to below 50. It seems like the only
people who are allowed to make a living at FECC are white glove drivers.
