I found a 1996 FL70, 250 Cummins, 6 Speed, 22' box, 68" Sleeper, New Rear Tires, comes with load bars and e trac for $9000.00.

Is that a good price? At that price do you think I would have any problem making enough to live good and pay it off over the first year?

I would suspect that most of the national companies and many of the regional companies would not want that old a vehicle in their fleet. You may want to try some of the smaller local companies. There are a couple in the Detroit area (They do not advertise with this site so that it would probably be best that I e-mail their names directly to you, if you are interested).

1996? I agree with Larry - that is getting old for most carriers. I think you need to be around the 2000 model for most carriers.

that truck is almost 10 year's old
i would go to truck add's here on eo and i think you would find
something better than a 96 and you want 2000/2003 or newer
sold my star on here and bought my sprinter on eo
so check out the want ad
also remeber if yu were to buy this truck and say keep it for
a year and want to trade up to a better truck you will have
wasted all that money as it will have no trade in value
and be nine year's old
and banks won't loan much money on a 96
maybe look at a lease for your first truck be able to get in
for less money down
on a use truck do they have maintance record's for you to look at
if not run don't walk away from that truck
