1994 Freightliner FL80 Fire Truck

Good Morning have a question. The Alternator went out on our 1994 Freightliner FL80 Fire Truck and now that we have it replaced the air horn is not working. The night the alternator went out we used the airhorn on a fire run. Now we try and hit the foot pedals and nothing happens. We are at a loss.
