I would like to take this time to thank all the people who serve this great country that I live in.thank you for what you do.I will never forget that day as I was watching the destruction of the twin towers on t.v .we are very lucky to live in this great country.I know we all complain about the taxes and the fuel prices, cost of living, etc,but I think we take for granted what we have in this great country.I am PROUD TO BE A AMERICAN .I hope everyone will say a little prayer today and thank those fallen Hero's and remember them. GOD BLESS AMERICA. MR.SNAPPY

It has been 5 years but it still seems like yesterday to me. I have lived thru the Kennedy assasination, been in Wash. when St Helens erupted seen the shuttle explode did 2 tours in Vietnam. I consider 911 more horific then Pearl Harbor. I consider myself permanently scared from that day, God bless the heroes from that day.

One other side note, I am trying to listen to the Howard Stern show in spurts today. I know many consider him a scumbag but unless you here a replay, which is playing today, this is not about that. I would recommend that if you can that you would tune to Sirius 100 or 101 today if you can

I'll add my thank you to everyone serving to protect this nation. Though not enough, the words are all that are available to express the gratitude for the sacrifices made on our behalf. Whether military, police, firefighters, or others in true public service, your work is appreciated. Don't let the negativists diminish what you do and don't let them make you believe you aren't appreciated.

When I was a teenager I remember my dad telling me how lucky that my generation never experienced one of those momements, "where you can remember exactly where you were and what you were doing" when a tragedy occured. I was pretty young when the shuddle exploded. Then Sept 11th happened. I can remember that I woke up late that day and didn't even have a chance to turn on the TV. I was driving to college and flipped on the radio, I couldn't believe that every station was talk. I flipped through all the channels confused, wondering where was the music? Then I listened to what they were saying and then it happened. There was my moment, where I would always remember where I was and what I was doing, it made me sad. I can't tell you what I did that week or month but I can recall that day like it happend yesterday. It honestly changed my life forever, I have never felt such pride and respect for this great country and those who defend it. Never take our freedoms for granted. God Bless America!

We are also thankful for our troops! You hear a lot of negative on our young people but a lot of them sure stepped up to the plate when the time came. I have to agree with Jack 9/11 has to be the worst thing that has happened in our life time but the bombing in Oklahoma City was also a terrible thing. The challenger disasters are also moments when you just have to stop for a moment and catch your breath. We are very proud of being Americans and everyday that you listen to the news you are reminded that you are from a great country.
