starting

Hello, I have a 2002 gmc C6500 with cat 3126. Just recently I have to use starting fluid to start cold or warm. Sometimes the intake heater comes on and it will start. After it warms up if you shut it off it won't restart without starting fluid. any help is appreciated. Thank you Tim Middleton
