Hey All! I was wondering how hard is it to make a decent living driving a cargo van or sprinter if you want to be home atleast every other weekend? What is the standard or norm. Also what is the o/o symbol?

Hey all! I am brand new to this and I am purchasing a cargo van. I am wondering which is better, diesel or gas? The priceof gas just went up around here. Is the mileage that much better with diesel? Any info I can get would be fantastic! :) Thanks
