what excatly is a class c cdl to drive a cargo van.i know you dont have to have a cdl to drive a van but i see alot of companies want cdl with hazmat.i was wanting to drive a van for the freedom from logs and hos. any comments would be appreciated

i have no experience in expediting and had a couple of questions. do you have to have a cdl to drive a 3/4 or 1 ton cargo van? do you have to keep a log book and hos regs in these vans? thanks

i am not currently in trucking but am interested in expediting. are ther any jobs that dont require a cdl. i have a excellent driving and work history.if anyone knows of any companies for me it would be appreciated.
