I'm getting a little tired of it

Tom As a van driver I have to put up with the same c**p I had to when I owned cube trucks and had them all over the east coast and in the south. I get the impression from a few because I don’t drive a real truck, I could not comment on real truck issues. Well there are no real truck issues...

    HOS (HOUR OF SERIVE) NEWBIE

Cheri, I can see how this is really frustrating for a van driver, being one myself. Many truck drivers are assumed guilty by the very fact they drive a truck. We are supposed to be professional drivers, meaning we are above the average driver in skill and knowledge and this sometimes works...

Somehow its all comming back to me.

Sorry about your loss. But I have a really dumb question; I thought there were very few exceptions (training, licensing, emergencies) for more than two people in the cab underload by DOT regs. Maybe I heard wrong and for some reason it sticks in my mind as I thought I heard it.

    Introduction to Expediting

Phil, This looks good, but is it possible to get this in a little booklet form – maybe in PDF format so it can be downloaded and printed?

    When is money so important?

Thank you Leo, I have saved this to show others. As much as I may have been put in my place, as one person just told me via email, Leo clarifies my point for a better delivery. To address one comment I received, this was not about trashing someone, but to illustrate there is no need to...

    When is money so important?

Warning long post ahead After a few odd (and funny) threads on EO, I made a comment to another EO member about some comments on one thread that had to do with a top performer. It really made me think; is it all that important to be a “top performer To me - No, it is not important at...

    Ridiculously NEWBIE....be gentle.

OK I hope this will also help you. From what I gathered by your brief description of you box truck, it sounds like my E350 dually, which was 12,000 GVW. If this is correct here is my answers to your questions. 1. Do I need a CDL? Is that based on hauled weight or axles or what? Yes – most...

Somehow its all comming back to me.

Hey ATeam I don’t want to sound contemptuous but I find your post somewhat obtuse. Having lofty goals and telling everyone about your success is all good and well but for a few of us, it does not sit well especially when we are told that to be successful we must find out what the top...

    Graduating Soon Need Advice

Edited for spelling errors, lol You know if this is the biggest fear you have and it is a deciding factor, I would tell you that this is nothing to worry about. Millions of truck drivers are out there and getting lost or being on back roads doesn’t seem to stop them. Also something else that...

hi all. new to the forum and worried to death.

    >Greg... you don't mean move permanently, do you? No No No, sorry should have been clear. I am planning on moving to the Indy market to get a load. I have to drop off Christmas gifts on the way there, so it is a dual purpose move.
