If that's a Bendix valve, those come with a grease packet, and real clear instructions to only use that grease. Just spitballing here, but I'm wondering if you used the wrong or no grease when reinstalling. I would also replace with a new one.

We have the benefit of a professional embroiderer in our truck. That was my wife's business prior to truck driving. She has customized my coveralls, made our dog's FedEx vest (complete with reflective strips) and a few other things. The brand sets us apart whether on or off a load.

Not sure what you think I saw, but your engine's oil capacity is 30.6 quarts. Also, your engine's centrifuge filter alone is roughly $45 retail. Those two items change this conversation a bit.

Doesn't help your scenario, but part of the DVA system picks and chooses based on the "forecast value of the truck". I'd wager that your truck is much more valuable to FedEx hauling temperature-controlled freight than dry box freight. Got passed up by a solo in south Texas once upon a time...
