Never previously being a fan of deep dish pizza, these guys have changed my opinion. Wow.

Layout where did I condemn what he did? I simply stated that he did the right thing by thanking the veteran, but after that IMO he abused his power. Abusing it to do a "good" thing is still abuse.

Do you know what kind of mileage he's getting?

I know all about the Vietnam war and how veterans were treated. My point is he did the right thing by thanking him for his service, but instead used that power he had to light up the christmas tree to do the escort thing. And to the person who posted that I don't want you to take that...

This will be hard to say without coming off like a **** but although it was a nice gesture on his part, it was also totally unnecessary (especially the use of lights). It kind of makes the OP's point about having that power and using it. Why not just thank you like he did and carry on?
