I guess that might make good sense in a cargo van or a sprinter. Might not get as good a signal on a straight truck or a semi tractor. You also have to worry more about the driver who unplugs it for the wrong reasons. But, it does sound like it has its good merits.

You might be right, but if you are set up with a good dealer they normally work pretty hard to accommodate the owner and get it set up the way they like. Freightliner in Ypsilanti does some pretty nice work for us on the installs.

Steve Barrett and his team are a pretty good group. We have always had a very positive business relationship with them and they are well regarded. I have never heard anyone say anything bad about them.

To the best of my understanding NY and NC require work comp on owner operators. I do not know of any other states that do.
