What is the FedEx CC Load Board?

After Ateam asked the question, I thought I would try to answer as best as I can, seeing that I have used the board for sometime now. Obviously, just like most posts, this one also went to h@ll. Ciao

What is the FedEx CC Load Board?

No, they are both good debaters and very knowledgeable, so I always appreciate their input. What bothers me, is that no matter what anyone posts, the conversation always goes downhill. Then there are those, you know who you are, that have such a hatred for the fed that they always attack with a...

What is the FedEx CC Load Board?

I have been on the beta test team twice and starting on Monday the third and last test phase. Trust me, of the 150 loads on average that I could see, 98% where like candyland.

What is the FedEx CC Load Board?

Being solo is always a challenge. I guess we will know in a few months of using the load board if it is beneficial to both parties.

What is the FedEx CC Load Board?

They always come out of the woodwork! Anyway, the loadboard will be to the benefit of both parties. It would be ignorant to think that it wont be to the developers benefit. Its all about getting the loads covered at the least possible effort and expense. Ironically, the more loads covered...

In the U.S., most OTR drivers are paid by the mile. Australia, though, is ending that practice

Shippers and receivers that make drivers wait for hours, because they are to cheap to employ more forklift drivers, create a safety risk to drivers and the public, especially after a 10 hour drive, and they make you wait to get unloaded. I think there should be pay per mile and time payed at the...

What is the FedEx CC Load Board?

I have been on the Beta team for the new Fedex CC load board and found it to work fantastic. The board will be for B,C,D,E and white glove. Rates are set per the current flat rate with the condition that Fedex will only pay DH for the first 100 miles and the class rate. This only applies to...

    Mileage

Well, my MBE 260 blew the head gasket 20 miles from home. I removed all the parts and will pull the head later today. Loss of coolant only, no oil mix and no overheat so I should be ok. Second day on the job and my body is hurting. Forget about yoga. This job is testing muscles I forgot about.

    Mileage

I am sorry to hear about your bad experience, tknight. Usafk9, thanks for your response. I know there are a few with over a million miles and running. I have nursed my mbe for the last 700,000 miles and do all the mechanical work myself. Engine runs smooth, never idled for long periods and I...

    Mileage

Anyone out there with more than 700,000 miles on their 260hp mbe engine, or 900,000 miles on their 330hp mbe engine? What is your average fuel mileage per gallon. I know their are many factors that influence fuel consumption, but we all have a general idea. Do you use more fuel during winter...

    First year net earnings

There are definitely many factors that can change your bottom line. I have been a solo for 5 years and net well above that amount. Watch your expenses, conserve fuel, hopefully you can do most of your repairs yourself. Ask and research on this forum If you have mechanical or electrical problems...

    First year net earnings

Minnesota is not a great area for a solo, in my opinion, but if you are willing to run in the midwest and north east, then you will be fine. I would say that your net would be between fifty and sixty with a paid truck and little experience.

07 M2 parking brake light and low air buzzer issue???

I had the low air buzzer last year and replaced the big square valve on the driver side that fixed the problem. Now my brake lights started giving problems on my way home and has completely stopped working. I have checked everything that I can. Does this valve also double as the brake light...

    Anyone need slush busters

Mine split open two years ago and I had to put a hose clamp around it next to the road in the rain. I am slightly embarrassed to say that it is still there, but it works perfectly!

    Overweight on steer

FYI. Keep in mind that most under 26000gvw c class trucks are spec'd as follows: 10 000 pound front axle / 17 500 rear axle ( 27 500 pounds) The manufacturer limits the frame rating to 25 999 gvw that gets you under 26 000, but your front axle weight limit is only 10 000 and not 12 000. If you...
