thanks im in a 3500 promaster now and its still under 10. Anything i get will be under 10 i dont want to have to be regulated.

Oh that changes everything then I guess my only question is there a sprinter model that's less than 10k that have the floor above the wheel wells where I could get 4 pallets and still have the sleeper area?

I say go for it with the van, I got on with a fleet owner and I've been making more money than I ever did with trucks in this "slow season". Maybe I got lucky who knows but I'm glad I didn't take the advice I got on here

that wasn't really my point....im saying if there's "way too many vans" for everyone to make good money then you all must not be making a lot, its going to come down to how much you like the job wouldn't it? I mean why do you all stay doing this if there's all this crazy competition?

I hear ya. who would wanna touch any commercial vehicle and go along with all the BS that can come with when you can just do it in a van. Makes sense that the easiest work that is much less in demand (as far as driving goes) is going to not be as reliable as the latter. Yeah, I for sure...

that's good, too bad for the vans it would be really nice to not have to worry about the DOT. That's something I could buy right now unlike a class B. But I don't wanna do that and get like 500 miles a week at super low paying loads.
