    Beware! Drivers&Owners

Beware of charges on your credit card or debit card that are not there that are supposed to be because recurring charges; i.e. withdrawal's for insurance coverage. History, we were leased to Bolt last year and my Son was driving for us and when he went for a pickup in N. Michigan, while...

    Average Speed

"Impossibolt" that's a hoot but it's reality. They wanted me to make a pickup with 200 miles of deadhead. It was a nice long run but I had about 3 hours to make it without any Interstate travel. I'm just wondering if any others i.e. Panther, TriState, Fedex CC, etc have gone to the 50 mph...

    Average Speed

When we were with Roberts Express & ConWay Now they based loads ona 45 mph average,i.e. 450 miles, 10 hours. However, when we were with Bolt they went with a 50 mph average. At the time I thought no big deal 5 mph faster but it really did make a big difference especially if you got a late jump...

    Aerocell-Unicell Supreme/Baybridge type Cube Vans

I agree that RVing is totally different. All the miles on our van have been expediting, which we've done since the late 90's with Roberts, then ConWay and more recently Bolt. Perhaps we'll just start up again with a newer gas van after the first of the year and see how it goes. Been down for...

    Aerocell-Unicell Supreme/Baybridge type Cube Vans

I think this is a little off course, so I'll be more specific. Does the following companies use aerocell or cube style vans: Load 1, Express 1, All State Express, Landstar, Panther or FedEx? Sincerely, Big Al

    Aerocell-Unicell Supreme/Baybridge type Cube Vans

Logging is not a problem. We used to log when pulling RV's in the 90's. I agree it's less aggravating not to have to log. I am concerned about by the time I add a small generator, air conditioner, refrig. 2 deep cycle batteries I'll run out of space and severally restrict my load capacity. But...

    Aerocell-Unicell Supreme/Baybridge type Cube Vans

I guess we're more into creature comfort at a reasonable price. Also I don't see why you can't average at least 10 mpg with this unit. According to a search on rv.net that's what most class c rv's are getting and after expediting I want to make this into a class c motorhome. With a medium duty...

    Aerocell-Unicell Supreme/Baybridge type Cube Vans

Which companies accept this type of truck? Also do they pay more for the additional height on loads higher than 48", i.e. Sprinter rates? Do some companies pay for a small c box with vans with a flat floor (no wheel wells) 91" wheel base? Thanks for your help Big Al Forsyth Missouri...

I tend to agree with you; however, my Son will have the final say. Our insurance is with a carrier different than our regular insurance company (USAA which has always been fair). I am very apprehensive about the whole thing and it seems major enough and well beyond my capabilities. Also there...

Several days ago our driver (my Son) was prepping our van to take on a load. While positioned on the ramp the load came out on a hi-lo (which he didn't hear) and the hi-lo driver hopped off the hi-lo to open the door without setting the parking brake and the hi-lo went forward and pinned him...
