The Courts; This is Why I Trust Them

That was back Oct 2020, right before the election, when the media were falling all over themselves to ignore Hunter's laptop, or in the off chance that some of their audience had heard about it, to diminish and dismiss it, nothing to see here, move along.

If we were talking about hot air ballooning, or Mac versus Windows, you'd still manage to try and change the conversion to Trump.

    It's verifiable, though.

I think you mean incriminating, not recriminating. But that's correct. They did nothing, at least not yet. Most of the time the DOJ moves slowly, investigating stuff for years before anything is done. And that's with Republicans. With Democrats it can take forever. For example, Trump's DOJ...

No. Not even a possibly. Much of what has been found has been published. And it proves Joe lied about his knowledge and involvement in Hunter's business dealings. There are meetings with Ukraine and other foreign nationals that Biden doesn't know anything about and never happened, yet there are...

Nope? Whaddya mean nope? That Trump used hyperbole often is an observable, verifiable fact. Well that's just an opinion. And a pretty bad one at that, because it requires mind reading to know for certain the intent of his language, and I'm confident is saying you can't read Trump's mind. Did...

That's not the reason Trumpers used hyperbole to describe things Trump said. Trumpers called it hyperbole because it was hyperbole. Hyperbolic language is Trump's default. With Biden not so much.

I don't know how I missed this, but I did. I'm really sorry to hear this.

Largely correct. That's funny. I'm probably giving away my age here, but I'm old enough to remember when Trump spoke in hyperbole and was fact checked as lying. Now we have Biden speaking in absolutely untrue absolutes and he gets a largely correct. That's weird.

True, but in recent years they've suddenly started to get really picky and choosy about who they prosecute for it. It's weird.

If the place of business is remotely crowded, or not crowded but is normally busy like Walmart, or even a convenience store where lots of people are in and out, absolutely I wear my N95 mask. To stop the spread? OK, sure, but mainly because this nor any vaccine is 100% effective. If you've...

A line item veto, which nearly all governors have (43), would be nice for presidents, but Congress would have to legislate that authority. Yeah, no, that's not gonna happen.

I thought the latter model 3500s were 6 inches wider between the wheel wells. I haven't confirmed that myself, but I did read it on the Internet.

Worst. Argument. Ever. I don't care what it is, anything that gets done could have been done sooner. If we knew then what we know now, travel would have been stopped two or three months earlier. But at the time nobody KNEW, not even you, what to do or when to do it. Even when it was done...

Okay, if he did that, would it have made a difference in the pandemic? Based on the experiences of other countries the answer would be no, it had minimal impact, if any on the pandemic. Also, the only travel from China he did not shut down was the travel he couldn't legally shut down. The...

Not that it matters, but no one knew what to do during the beginning of the pandemic, and no one really knows now. The same way people erroneously complain that Trump didn't handle the pandemic correctly yet can't give any examples of what he should have done differently that would have made any...

Do keep in mind that whenever you hear someone got the vaccine and died, uhm, 8000 people die every day. Some have had the vaccine, some haven't.

It's really not. You give up a large chunk of your personal freedoms when you drive a motor vehicle on a public road in public. Plus, the next time you operate a motor vehicle you have the choice of not wearing one. You might get in trouble for not wearing one, but that's your choice. What...

    The Trump Card...

That's a tougher question than it seems at first blush. It'll take time to get that figured out. 5, 10 years from now, we may find the answer to be a resounding yes. It could be the virus lays dormant in those kids for years or decades and eventually emerges to infect far more people, but if...
