Consignee rejected load because seal was missing.

If the BOL says anything about a seal, and you didn't have a sealed load when you arrived, its on you. Live and learn. The bigger concern is your insurance is going to have a claim filed against it for $12,000! Sent from my SM-N910P using EO Forums mobile app

Our Life on the Road PROTECTING THE FLOOR IN A STRAIGHT TRUCK BOX

Look very nice. I'd be interested to know if forklifts with the non-marking, smooth tires, slide or slip on that finish. Mike Linthicum

    I'm Just Sayin'

I have a 03 Chevy Express 3500 with a 15ft Supreme Corp. Box mounted on the chassis. When the chassis was new, it was rated at 12300 GVWR, after Supreme mounted the box, they re-rated it at 12000 GVWR. The truck scales at 8350'ish. So that puts me at about 3500# payload, but I try to stay under...

    March 2017 this and that.

They have their own season... telling time shouldn't be a problem. Seems to me, that they're drawn towards those sirens. Mike Linthicum

    Cargo Van's starting to log?

Cargo vans will NEVER log. Just think about all of the van you see on the road. DOT officers in each state, have a difficult time keeping up with all of the big trucks as it is. Can you imagine what would happen if they had to include cargo vans? Most importantly, there's no money in it. A Level...

    OUT AND BACK

I should explain why I prefer the OAB thing... and I believe this is the key point, all of my customers are located where I live. I make every attempt to get a back haul headed toward home, or at least within 200 miles. That doesn't always happen, but when it does, it's money in the bank.

    OUT AND BACK

I've done the "out and back" thing for several years, and I'll never go back to staying out for weeks at a time. I like sleeping in my own bed, and being with family most every night. If you;ve been out doing the OTR thing for any length of time, it's difficult to see how someone might make any...

I can tell you why rates are so low. Its not fuel.

What law would require a % carrier to give you proof of the rate?

There was another rock slide at the 141.5 in TN also. Could have been those big "worms" from the movie "Tremors".

October places, things, thoughts and wishes and some other stuff.

Well, the wife is recovering very quickly, from her hip replacement. Due to the extra time I needed to help her, I wasn't able to stay in the truck I was driving, and now I've decided to go ahead and take a job local to home. It's been a joy working with all of you, and I wish everyone the very...
