Thank you for showing the disgust and remorse for the situation these people find themselves in. There are those on this board that would cheer and celebrate the loss of life saying they got what they deserved. We, as a civilized society, should be mourning them.

I understand there will be deaths, if fired upon, by all means fire back and shoot to kill, However with that said, firing on a group of unarmed people is just wrong. That is something the East Germans would do, not the U.S.A. IMHO of course.

Asked and answered. Defend the borders as necessary, but not using the ruthless methods of the East Germans.

Securing and controlilng the borders using the military is one thing, but using the ruthless tactics used by the East Germans is another.

If i had the answer to the problem, I'd be rich. However, one thing I do know, being a stone faced, cold hearted killing machine is definitely not the answer.
