We are having to leave our kitty Squeaky at home due to no pets allowed. We will be using our truck inside for the pre trip challenge and also showing the trucks sleeper. Squeaker likes people so he would be out wandering around seeing who all he could meet.

Nothing exciting - looking through what is being presented at Orientation a section at a time and giving feedback to corporate.

I know pets are not allowed in the hotels at Expo.

Wondering how many of you on percentage rates use something like truckstop.com to check rates in certain areas of the country? Do you expect the same rate or minimum rate no matter where you are? Do any of you pay to belong to any of these services?

Talked to Beach Bum today and he was able to get the leaking hose fixed and all is well! He will only be using free WiFi from now on and no phone calls. Cannot wait to hear his stories and see his pictures.

One of the reasons we went with Landstar was to get a taste of having our own authority but still having a company to turn to in case of need. I would suggest something like Landstar and then look for your own customers before jumping into the deep end.
