    **WARNING to new contractors*****

Very well written Zorry, there is research that should be done on both ends owner and driver and it could help avoid a lot of problems. Sent from my SCH-i705 using EO Forums mobile app

    **WARNING to new contractors*****

From what I have heard from other owners it goes both ways, you have some bad owners no doubt but also you have so many drivers that always think the grass is greener somewhere else. They drive for a little while then they meet someone else and get to talking next thing you know they're gone...

    Custom built straight truck?

I noticed that most newly built S/T that they are building now have ultrashift or automatic transmissions. Maybe i am just old school but i love my stick shift, is it common for people to buy a stock truck say with a ultrashift and convert it to stick shift or is this just unheard of? Thanks...

    Fedex solo

The best advice i would give you is if your brand new to being a O/O don't buy a brand new very expensive truck. Buy a good well taken care of truck. And use this site there are a lot of people on here that know what they are talking about. Anytime i have a question this is the place to ask...

    Fedex solo

I run solo FEDEXCC the most important thing i would ask you would be what area do you live near? If your near a busy freight area you could stay busy and still be home quite a bit. But if you live in a bad area you just have to find the good place to be. I would say fedex keeps me pretty busy...

Lucas oil additives good or bad?

So is it even worth using the additive? One thing I did notice using the additive is it increases the oil pressure. Sent from my SCH-i705 using EO Forums mobile app

Lucas oil additives good or bad?

I have a 2005 freightliner m2 106 with the mbe 900 engine 260 hp I always use one gallon of lucas oil additive along with rotella t5 oil every oil change. Someone told me the other day that using the lucas in my smaller engine made it work harder and would result in a engine rebuild sooner. Does...

    Some current temps

Thanks for the responses, I have a carrier and I run solo so I only run it when I am stopped. Last night it did fine here in south carolina it got down to about +8. I just didn't know if it would supply enough heat in below zero temps. Sent from my SCH-i705 using EO Forums mobile app

Espar bunk heater low voltage cut off

I have a carrier apu and it was doing something similar, I could turn it on and run it for as long as I wanted but when I would turn the heat on it would idle up and then die and say it was under voltage. It only did it a couple of times and it has been working fine ever since, I wonder if it...
