    Re: Medical Certificates

I am all for tougher med exams and a double look for drivers past a certain age. However this would definitely be a game changer for a large percentage of truck drivers out there. Between the obesity related problems and general lack of medical care many drivers not just those over 70...

    Thanks espar of mich.

The other day I utilized the services of Espar of Michigan for a battery and isolator installation. The staff was very knowledgeable about the technology and did a great job with my custom installation. I will use them again and would recommend their services if you want quality work at a fair...

Bad news for Flying J fans

Maybe a bright spot for Flying J fans would be that under Pilot management, the love affair with the RV. crowd will be over, and Expeditors will be welcomed as trucking professionals. Too many Flying J's catered to the RV crowd. Just My Opinion

    proper tire pressure on vans?

80 rear,70 front, diesel engine, I keep the conventional treads in front,100,000 plus miles, and run Firestone snow tread in rear. 80 psi in front makes the van jump around.

    Reality Check # ?

The babble about LTL vs Expedite loads has existed in this forum for years. It took this severe downturn, and subsequent price lowering for someone to articulate the difference. Dave was honest about the nature of this business, you must keep your unit loaded with freight ,by any method...
