Putting down insulation before plywood floor of van?

I think what I'm going to end up doing is filling in the space between the XM's (cross members) with sheet and spray insulation so the gaps are level with the XMs. Doesn't sound like refletix will do much good under the plywood so e track down on the cross members with pre drilled holes for the...

    Battery setup help

for me its straight convenience. If I'm in my underwear sleeping and I get up cause I'm hungry I can just use my microwave on the shelf instead of getting dressed and going in the store. The whole cost for everything I'm doing to set up my van will only be around $2500-$3500, and that's based...

    Battery setup help

Yeah you are right. I just did a aux battery calculator. based off of using 1500watts, which is a little high of an estimation to add 600w on top of the AC but just for kicks, with 12v batteries (2 6v) comes to about 115amps. in order to run that straight for 12 hours I need about 3000ah of...

Can i screw into the floor of promaster in the front floor?

Yeah. Is it possible that I could remove just the back rest of the passenger seat? That would give me a lot more to work with.

    Battery setup help

wow thanks so much turtle that's super informative. Just to clear some stuff up, the reason I want all that battery power and 3500w inverter is because I plan on running an portable AC unit and not messing with a generator at all (I know in my OP I said I was going to but ive changed my tune on...

    Dash cam suggestions

I saw one being advertised on qvc that attaches to your rear mirror. Seemed like a nice one. I like the idea because its not going to go anywhere if you get in an accident i dont trust the suction cup or adhesive attached ones to not fly out of place with an accident.

Can i screw into the floor of promaster in the front floor?

well damn, I wasn't aware of that I thought you could remove the seat. Not sure how ill incorporate a fridge then as I want to be able to take 3 skids vs having a set sleeper. Maybe I can find one that's skinny enough to be kept against the wall or one i can put in the floor in front of the...

E track on roof of sprinter?

I plan on bolting it to the floor too. So its parallel with the ones on the roof. I know its kind of overkill. Im just wondering if the roof will be able to support something like that

Putting down insulation before plywood floor of van?

Been expediting in promasters for over a year now and ive only gotten one load that was within 2 inches from the top. But the question is it going to make enough difference to be worth losing that rare really high load

E track on roof of sprinter?

Is there any reason i couldnt do this? My idea is so i can use two of the e track load locks run them vertically to seriously block the cargo from sliding forward.

Putting down insulation before plywood floor of van?

What i would like to do is cut thick insulation board and use adhesive spray to put inbetween the floors cross members and have them be slightly taller than the crossmembers. Then use spray foam insulation to cover the cross members and everywhere else. When it cures trim in down to be level...

    Battery setup help

Starting to make plans to buy van next month and im a little confused on the details of installing all the electrics....aux batteries, roof ac unit, genererator, inverter etc. I want to have about a 900-1100 ah battery bank most likely of 2-4 batteries. I want a smart isolator that will...

payload for 2500 promaster high roof extended?

I would be all over a Nissan if they made them longer. And I'm definitely going to be finding a promaster with a bumper to bumper warranty of at least 100k miles hopefully more so I'm not breaking the bank paying for things that go wrong quickly like this.

payload for 2500 promaster high roof extended?

yes I understand that everything you had to the van effects the payload. Ive driven promasters for like a year, both were in a 3500, I had about 3300 payload after everything, I don't remember the exact number, sticker payload was 4400. So if everything was the same but in a 2500, the payload...
