    FRESH START FEBRUARY

I did drive an orange cabover for a few years. 1973 Mack F with a 45' Kentucky trailer. One of the first trucks I ever drove with power steering. It had a whopping 237 HP Maxidyne and the Maxi-torque 5 speed. Good thing I humped household goods for awhile to keep me in shape. :) .

    FRESH START FEBRUARY

My son is a cop in Eden Prairie. I'd have him come and jack you up just because, but he's in the Bahamas. 43º here today so I did an oil change even though I only had 5500 miles on the oil. Meanwhile about 50 miles to the north a former coworker of my wife had Happy Hour outside. .

    FRESH START FEBRUARY

Prince was my next door neighbor until he got dead. I live about 1½ miles due west of Palsy Park. Tomorrow 40º and Monday mid 30's. What 3M are you delivering to?

What to bring to my first day?

A warm, quality sleeping bag. Driving a fleet owner's cargo van probably means no auxiliary heat source. The van may not even be insulated. Preferably a stand alone GPS but a smart phone with mapping apps will get you started. Operate the van as if you owned it. Keep track of fuel expenses...

Carville: Dem candidates not in Realville.

James Gabby Carvilleson: I’ll just say it this dadgum way: The fate of the world depends on the Democrats getting their cracker croaker :censoredsign: together and winning in November. Olson Johnson: I think we're all in debt to Gabby Carvilleson for stating what needed to be said.

    The Trump Card...

When I go to my local sperm bank to make a deposit I bring a life size cutout of Stormy Daniels and never get hassled. I guess dialysis clinics have different rules. I wonder if aids clinics allow life size cutouts of Mayor Pete?

    2015 Ford Transit Maintenance Costs

From what I've read on the Transit forum, members claim the rear brakes do most of the stopping to prevent nose diving. Just the opposite of my Chevy slop buckets where I replaced front brakes on almost a 3 to 1 ratio to rear brakes. Or it could be the Ford dealership replaced the front brake...

    2015 Ford Transit Maintenance Costs

The wind caught my door and yanked it right out of my hand. The combination of the size of the door, the location of hand grab and the only thing stopping the door from going past 180º is the fender. Poor design. .

    Tax Deductions For Non-Owner Operators

All taxes are way more than most people want to pay. According to my calculations you are paying 20% of your gross income in taxes. Is that excessive in Canada? In the U.S. you should be able to get you Adjusted Gross Income down from your Gross Income using deductions like per diem etc...

    2015 Ford Transit Maintenance Costs

Maintenance cost update after having my routine 100,000 mile service performed at a Ford dealership. The following are maintenance costs for a 2015 Ford Transit T-350, 3.5 Ecoboost, long and tall. These costs are for maintaining this Transit as it came from the factory and do not include extras...

    Fedex cc vs. Panther

You posted in the Newbies Forum. How long have you been expediting? How long have you been with Panther? Do you or your partner own the truck? Why are you limiting yourselves to just Panther or FedEx? What appealed to you and your partner to choose to go with Panther? Was FedEx one of your...

    Starting with clp

I would think most reputable companies want drivers with a CDL, not a permit. This is probably due for insurances reasons. Also if you only have a permit you are not a team. Your CDL partner can't log bunk time while you are at the wheel. Here's a novel idea, why not obtain your CDL B first...

    Goodbye to the J

Yeah, Moot Points are way better than Speedway Points but harder to earn and even more difficult to redeem. I'm about 60/40 truckstops to Wally World. If I can get by without a shower I will hit Wally World or a Loves.
