Hi Bill, Age is not a factor in this business as long as health issues are under control. I recommend you read these forums and see what you think about the industry before you leap. Most of us are owner operators so we are self employed. We are leased to a carrier to get our loads and we are paid by them but we are responsible for our own witholding taxs etc. Most companies would require a commercial license but not an A or B to drive a van. ....TJ
